NANA v2

Here's a plan I made. I'm going to revamp this site. Yeap. Again. But this time, I'll take my time doing it. I'll come up with something NANA-ish, although, like I said, its just a thought. In the meantime, lets leave you with more NANA! - taken from previous post

Yeah? So, what do you think? I'm still doing some more changes, planning to add more things, make a few more changes, etc. Image is huge, I know, but I'm too lazy to make changes anymore. That aside, I absolutely LOVE this version! It's so pink, and purple, and black, which suits both the NANAs very well. I feel like making layouts now. It's like I'm on a roll, which is not something good.
Anyway, this blog needs songs, but I'm still figuring out a few minor problems. In the meantime, to listen to the featured song, click HERE for the playlist. Just click on the songs to listen.

*Went shopping! Finally got a new pair of 'sandals' and going to "borrow" miSzmeSz's new pair of sneakers. Was suppose to go over to Aunt's place, but - Oh well. I'm going to get Ouran from Popular soon. I saw it there and was literally surprised. 8 bucks though. Hmm..

FAMILY - Father And Mother I Love You.

Yeah, you should know where I got that from. (I Not Stupid 2) Highlight for answer. I can't believe I've never really thought of it that way. (What of the siblings though?)
Anyway, it's Dad's b'day tomorrow, so here's an advanced Happy Birthday to Dad.

NANA

I realized that for the past month, my social life has practically gone down the drain. I have not been to the movies, shopping, hanging out, and er.. whatever other things that people do that implies the existence of your social life. I'm either at home, or school, or my friend's place doing my project. That is it.
I need to start calling up people on my phonebook and ask them out for coffee or something. (But they'll probably don't even remember me now)

I so badly want to go to Kinokuya.

Anyway, I've only watched NANA the movie recently. It was awesome if you're a NANA fan; great, if you havent read the manga. Anyway, try watching it. The Live-Action Movie. Or try watching the Anime. Or try reading the Manga. (Ah, yes, speaking of which, I've been reading plenty of Mangas lately. Which is so weird, considering my statements about mangas a few posts back.)

Here's a plan I made. I'm going to revamp this site. Yeap. Again. But this time, I'll take my time doing it. I'll come up with something NANA-ish, although, like I said, its just a thought. In the meantime, lets leave you with more NANA!

The Live-Action Movie

Mika Nakashima as Ootsaki Nana (She's great!)

Aoi Miyazaki as Komatsu Nana (She potrays the character sooo perfectly)

The Anime (Recently released)

More from the anime.

Komatsu (Hachi) Nana and Ootsaki Nana

See how similar they are? The movie + anime keeps pretty close to the manga. To the very last detail too. It's awesome how they do that.

Ah, well, if anyone is interested, here's the sypnosis, if you haven't already figured out (although abit late, after all that rambling, heh.)

"Two young women, both with the name Nana, one with a punk backround and another with the naive upper middle class mindset, find each other in Tokyo as they pursue love and careers. Their transition to the adult phase is not without drama." Adapted from ANN.

"The story tells of two very different females sharing the same name of NANA, brought together by the chance of fate. There's love problems, hate, punk music, punk fashion and virtual sachiko, but together the NANAs get through it all." Adapted from Epicalyx vs Epocalypse.

Btw, Oosaki is my fav Nana. And the movie have awesome soundtrack! Especially when Nana's in a rock band.

Credit goes to NANA-NANA.net for the images.

Paradise Desert

Food!
Delicious, yummilicious food. Pretty pretty food.
Okay, more like junk food.

First of we have the wacky and cool egg. I'd like to try this one day.

Next, we have the Taiyaki. Which is actually just a fried, fish-shaped pastry, with a sweet filling inside, most of the time - red bean paste.

So maybe I ought to post some real dish. But, unfortunately.. I'm more of the 'junks' kind of person. I have a sweet tooth.

Time for some desert!

We have some pretty tarts.

So maybe I don't really know what this is, probably some muffin.
But it looks yummy. I'd love this for breakfast.

Look at this. This beats Swensen's toppings. It's actually from Denny's in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
(And no jiisan, THIS is the reason to visit Japan)

Save the best for last, right?

CHOCOLATES. And STRAWBERRIES.

Except they're neither brown (choc) or red (strawberries).
They are very very very special.

*It was late in the wee hours of the morning, and my stomach was already grumbling before I came across all these.

Tee V.

This show reeks of awesomeness. Everyone should watch this if they have a chance. You'll learn about medicine (okay, so maybe not much), all the medical terms, the patients they attend to, and of course life in the hospital. Georgie. You're such a cutie!

And this is the show I am planning to watch.

Yummy yum yum. Drama-licious. Everyone in this show will NOT have hair. Well, they have to be shaved right? I am running high on eye candy.

It's All In The Trust

Because I can no longer trust my laptop or my desktop for stability of any files that I put in, I now upload everything on the net.
(As a form of backup)
But then.
What if all the files that I took a long long time to upload, suddenly disappear as well?
I mean, you can never fully trust cyberspace as well.
If that web host is down, I'll kill myself.
Because everything that is no longer in my computer is uploaded on the net.
And if all the files uploaded on the net are no more, I will swear off computers.
And Internets.
Forever.

What my laptop contains at the moment:-

Size: - 5.94Gb
37 video files

(12 eps of Grey's Anatomy, Bleach Ep 72 & OVA 2, FSN Ep 12, Ergo Proxy Ep 1-4, The Family Stone [which I shall delete later on], and a few trailers, short clips and animation projects)

Size: - Approx 3Gb
671 music files
(including playlists, etc)

Size: - Files too large in number to contemplate total size
3849 images
(including CD covers, images for projects, psd files, mangas [bleach and school rumble], default textures from photoshop etc, 3D max default bitmaps etc)

Well, these are the media files that I have for the sake of entertainment.

And some cute neko. Really really cute, if you love kitties. May take a while to load though.
Click here to view on another page.

Oh and I think I want more Ueki, since the series already ended (raws). Just waiting for Shinsen's sub. The last few eps have been real exciting, esp his Level 2. Ueki, ueki, ueki!

Plus, School Rumble is out for a second season. Who could ask for more?

Anyway, I'm trying to do an Ukitake vector, which I'll probably pass to Eileen (once its done), since she loves him so much. Well that's about it. Sorry if no one has any idea what I'm talking about. This is the other side of me not many knows (the anime and the photoshop part). Well, at least those other than my classmates/sisters.
