The Host

I see no point in giving out personal details. Just know that I'm usually known as sal. msleah is my alter ego.

I believe if you don't already know who I am, you wouldn't be here in the first place.

Get To Know 'Em!

"Yes, this week we visit the idol finalists at their home, and get to know them a little better!"
I sound like the 'narrator' of the channel. Okay, whatever it is, this week, its just a simple, hi-hello-let's-get-to-know-one-another kind of thing. It was fun, if you can call invading people's privacy 'fun'. (Jonathon watches cartoon every night, Emily is in love with Japanese actor/singer Domoto Tsuyoshi - of Kinki Kids -; Jasmine use to be fat, erm, what else?)

I don't really know who to root for, since I love almost every single one of them. I almost wish everyone would win. Hah, so do they, I think.

Well enough of Singapore Idol ('s non-existant blabbering).
____________________________

On to the World Cup. After watching the match between France and Portugal, I realised (again) how much I missed playing sports. Well the fact that I haven't played Netball in a long time and suddenly wanting to play again, means I miss sports. Right? I definitely didn't miss it during all those trainings under the hot sun a few years ago. And I know I have to start keeping fit (after seeing all those lean men. Whoa, I tell you!) but I just can't seem to get myself to run. Run. Run. RUN! I want to try KickBoxing. Its' my way of venting out frustrations.

Okay, so back to the match.. (a little off topic, there) it was alright. I mean, what can I say? (What do they(guys) ever talk about, after watching soccer matches, anyway?) France won because of Zidane's free kick. There were of course, plenty of chances for Portugal to put a goal as well, but then, maybe it just wasn't their luck. Christiano is so cute! And I totally love his footwork, he's incredibly skilled for someone so young. Not that I can say much about him since I don't really know him that well.

Real life topic now. Project period is over! (Well.. close, anyway) I'm extremely relieved that half of this burden is over. Now, all I have to wait for is the.. VIVA which I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to get through. I hate presentations for life! Plus, worse still is I have zilch knowledge on what I'm suppose to talk about. We'll leave that matter until the time comes. In the meantime, I have to start writing a 300 page report. Yes. 300. PAGES. Not words. And no, I'm not kidding.

Finding something positive to talk about, I have a new kitty! He's so cute, and he came to us (although I have no idea how). Apparently its a little bit late to talk about this, since he's now with us since a few weeks ago. How we came to find him (or he to us) is that my sister was sleeping when suddenly, this flurry object just dropped on her head. And Viola! its a kitten! We named him 'Neko'. And he is so cute! I didn't sleep the first night he was with us simply because I had to be awake to take care of him (and his cycle - sleep, eat, business, play).

Yay, so that's about it. I find myself having one of those 'about to puke' situations again. It hasn't been happening in a long while, and now its back. Let's just hope its because I'm feeling under the weather, and nothing else.
And its been almost a week, but those two songs that I uploaded last week are still the ones that're stuck inside my head. What I loved about them is that those songs helped me go through the 'stress' time when I have to do the last minute editing for my projects. Songs that make me go crazy will stop me getting into a state of extreme depression. Me and my warped logic.

Music all the way!

It's a beautiful lie
It's the perfect denial
Such a beautiful lie to believe in
