The Host

I see no point in giving out personal details. Just know that I'm usually known as sal. msleah is my alter ego.

I believe if you don't already know who I am, you wouldn't be here in the first place.

Top 12 - Wildcards

Recent updates: Apparently there was a glitch on the system last week, and Nurul, instead of Matilda made it to the top 8. Therefore Matilda's the one in the wildcard. Meryl has dropped out of the competition.

Well, for the next 4 who made it to the top 12, they are..

Jay
Matilda
Norman
Gayle

(Gayle sang Kelly's Beautiful Disaster and Jay sang Clay's Solitaire. American Idol, anyone?)

Which is pretty much expected. (Like duh!) They should've just said at the very beginning to the bottom row people that they won't make it. Since all those names mentioned above sat at the top row.
And so this coming week, we'll be meeting up close and personal with the top 12 finalists. Or so they say.
Whatever it is, we'll have to wait for the week after that before the 'actual' competition begins.

Anyway, Brazil lost the match to France this morning. Isn't that weird? And yesterday, before the match, we were discussing this and one of the guys said that France was unlucky to have met Brazil this early in the World Cup. More like Brazil is the unlucky one in this case, don't you think? Can't wait for the semis, its going to be interesting. I think.

And I've come across some new cool bands. (Breaking Benjamin and Lostprophets)
The weird thing is, I first heard them on the radio - 987fm. Since when do they play these kind (modern rock) of songs? I mean it used to be once in a while but nowadays its been playing these kind of music often. Not that I'm complaining, I just find it weird. But that means I can listen to the radio and hear my fav songs, without the mp3 player.

Plus, I've been listening to (or trying to find) classics like KCI and Jojo's Crazy, but I bump into All My Life. That song brings back memories. I think I will always remember that one certain scene in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, because they played that song. It was so meaningful, and yes, that was long ago. In the 90s. And then there's Bachelor Girl's Buses and Trains, and Frente's Bizarre Love Triangle. Songs that would never be forgotten and will still be nice no matter how old you are. (I sound really old right about now)
Anyway Christina's new single - Ain't No Other Man - is a classic. I love her songs. Although it sounds like it would fit right in if it was in the Take The Lead OST. Well then. That's about it for this week.

On a side note: Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane

Cool song, accompanied with an equally cool video.
I'll upload the song on the "Special Preview" section.
