The Recipe
Recipe. How to spend a long weekend. What you need:- 1. Minimum 3-5 days of leave (needless to say, the longer the better) 2. Some cash ($10-$20; of course the longer the leave, the more amount is needed) 3. Some DVD collection 4. Plasma TV 5. A couch 6. Blanket (if needed) Instructions:- 1. Use the cash to get some chips, cookies, marshmallows, cakes, ice-cream etc. depending on your taste. 2. Lay out all these items in front of you, snuggle up on your couch with the blanket. (For better results switch the air-con - full blast) 3. Switch on the tv, get the dvd and start playing it. (For a marathon, get a series or trilogy movies; normal movies lasts around 1.5 to 2hrs) 4. If at anytime you are too comfortable, and your eyes are starting to feel heavy, switch off the TV. (Warning: If you fail to do so, the TV may end up watching you. Subsequently, do not be surprised if the there is a surge in the electric bills this month) 5. Lastly, enjoy the long weekend while it lasts! Or you can try an alternative recipe. Replace steps 3-6 from the above recipe with these steps:- 3. One or more friend (or none, depending on your mood, and social status) 4. Go to places that are having a sale. 5. Shop. Till you drop. Please ensure that you have sufficient ingredient in Step 2, to proceed with the alternative recipe.
